## 0.77.2 - **Getting started sent a new admin into a wall at step one.** The panel listed "Declare an engagement" first, and the engagements screen refuses that declaration while no credential is stored for the chosen model's provider. Credential comes first now, and it says why, because two chores in an order nobody explains only move the surprise. - **A non-admin no longer gets a checklist of four things only an admin can do.** Every Getting started step refuses a viewer, an annotator and an approver, and two of the four had their links withheld from them, which made it a to-do list with the instructions torn out. They are told what the organisation is waiting for, by name, so "ask an administrator" does not send them away to find out what to ask for. - **A missing Docker is answered with a command to install it on every carrier.** `install.sh` has named one since 0.75.4 and the two carriers added since inherited the version before that fix, so `pipx run anchorpoint-install install` on a clean host said "docker is not on PATH" and stopped. - **Installing needs root, and the documentation now says so on every road.** The shell and air-gapped lines said `sudo` and the two package-manager lines did not, so the documented pipx command failed on any clean host against `/opt`. - **`make release-publish` takes `DEFER=`** for a registry that is unavailable for a reason no rebuild fixes. npm publishes before PyPI, so one registry's outage or suspension otherwise blocks the others. A deferral is not a skip: it never marks the registry as holding these bytes, it prints NOT PUBLISHED against it, and it refuses if everything left is deferred. - **Both publish tools are checked before the first publish** rather than at their own call sites. `twine` is not a dependency of this project, and discovering that after npm had already taken two packages would leave one registry holding a version the others do not.
